Renowned Speaker Dan Clark to Inspire Audience at Incentive Travel Exchange 2016

NEW YORK (Jan. 13, 2016) ─ Dan Clark, professional motivational speaker, author, and CEO of Clark Success Systems will be the keynote speaker at Questex Travel Group’s 11th annual Incentive Travel Exchange (ITE) event, to be held March 2-5, 2016 at The Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay.

The event, held in partnership with SITE, brings together prequalified, top-producing buyers and global suppliers of incentive travel for prearranged meetings, high-caliber networking and educational opportunities. Suppliers will include cruise lines, hotels, resorts, spas, tour operators, destination management companies, and some of the most sought-after incentive destinations across the globe.

As a National Speakers Association Hall of Famer, Clark’s uplifting story of how he fought his way back from a paralyzing injury that cut short his American football career will ignite visitors during his keynote address that will open the 11th edition of Incentive Travel Exchange.

Clark was projected as a number one draft choice for the NFL Oakland Raiders, however during a tackling drill he cracked the 7th vertebra in his neck and severed the axillary nerve in his right shoulder.  Doctors projected he would have a 10% chance of recovery at best; however he recovered full function in a couple of years. Since then, he’s flown in fighter jets twice the speed of sound, raced cars in Germany and even carried the Olympic Torch in the 2002 Winter Games. He is on the International Board of Governors of Operation Smile and serves on the National Civic Leaders Board for the United States Air Force. He is a primary contributor to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series and an author of 21 books including “Puppies for Sale" which was made into a film starring Jack Lemmon.

“Dan is one of those speakers who raises the mood of a room to a whole new level,” said Kirk Lewis, Questex’s Meetings Group Director.  “I am so pleased he will be joining us at Incentive Travel Exchange to show our buyers and suppliers how to unlock their utmost potential. It really will be a must-see event.”

The 2015 ITE program achieved record attendance by providing suppliers 3,500 one-on-one appointments with high-value incentive buyers. Lewis, who will be attending his first ITE in March said, “We expect this next event to be our most unique and valuable to our partners ever.”
